Quantifying the Diversity of Stimulus-Dependent Hemodynamic Responses in Newborns: An Approach Using Parental Voice Stimuli.
概要 | Abstract
脳血管系の発達が未成熟である発達初期の乳児は、発達途上の神経血管連関を持ち様々な刺激に対して多様な血行動態反応を示す。例えば一般的に神経活動に伴って酸素化ヘモグロビン増加、脱酸素化ヘモグロビン減少という逆位相を示すが、新生児は認知負荷量に応じ同位相を示すことも知られている。本講演ではこれらの特性を定量化し、父母や他者（男・女）の声に対する新生児の脳反応を比較検討する試みを紹介する。
In early infancy, when the cerebrovascular system is still immature, infants possess developing neurovascular coupling
and exhibit diverse hemodynamic responses to various stimuli. For example, while neural activity typically results in an
anti-phase response (increased oxygenated hemoglobin and decreased deoxygenated hemoglobin), newborns are known to show
in-phase responses depending on the cognitive load. This talk introduces an attempt to quantify these characteristics
and compare the brain responses of newborns to the voices of their parents versus others (male and female).
