The Seminar "Anthropological Approaches to Emotion" is held on 16th December, 2009

The goal of this seminar is to have a close look at the anthropology of emotion through a new understanding of visual anthropology which is based on the merging of documentary and art forms of ethnographic film. This reflection on some of the new developments in visual anthropology will be illustrated and further elaborated by the case of religious emotions.
